In 2019, Schanzy transitioned into property management, becoming the General Manager of a large property management company, where he further honed his leadership and operational expertise.

In early 2026, he founded Shadow Mountain Property Management to bring his own vision of high-end, detail-oriented service to the Upper Roaring Fork Valley's competitive market — combining local knowledge, hands-on leadership, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
